The principal objectives of the ICCP are:
In order to implement these objectives ICCP aims:
To advance the understanding of computing;
To set standards for the computing profession;
To confer recognition upon practitioners who meet those standards.
To promote the provision of good training and educational
activities in the computer industry and,
To provide a forum in which computing may be discussed and
examined.
To foster better communication and closer links between
computing and other management functions.
To disseminate knowledge and information on computing
matters and to promote a greater awareness of the proper,
efficient and beneficial uses of computers.
To offer professional examinations and to encourage the
development and presentation of courses covering the
examination syllabus and to provide all possible
encouragement and assistance to students.
To improve the effectiveness and status of those engaged in
the industry.
To foster and maintain a high level of professionalism.
To make representations to Government, Press and the public
both nationally and internationally
Because of rapid technological growth ICCP ensures our syllabi is
reviewed and updated regularly, to keep pace with the new job
opportunities.

The Institution of Certified Computer Professionals (ICCP), offers
opportunities for Information Technology (IT) professionals in
education and job opportunities through partnerships with the IT
industry, government and academia. ICCP provides quality IT related
education, information on relevant IT issues and forums for networking
with experienced peers and other IT professionals for members.
